Mindfulness also changed how I approached life, leading to a calmer way of being and minimising how I got caught up in overthinking and emotional overwhelm, this led me train as a Mindfulness Teacher, alongside my counselling.

If you are ready to talk about your anxiety and would like to explore ways that can help you manage

You can book an initial anxiety therapy session in Poole, or online, at a reduced cost to help you decide if counselling is right for you.

The first session helps me to understand what is going on for you and a chance for you to get to know me, and
ask the questions you have about counselling and how we will work together.

We can then make a decision about future sessions.

I can offer anxiety therapy sessions in Poole in Dorset, or offer online sessions so am able to work with you
wherever you are in the country

Mindfulness is not therapy, these classes introduce you to research based mindfulness techniques that you can practice in your day to day life to reduce anxiety, stress and depression.

This 10 week course, consisting of 4 weeks of learning, 2 weeks home practice, 4 weeks of further learning. helps you find ways to bring calm, clarity,

How Can Counselling Help?

formulating a plan tailored to your needs that together we
find ways to reduce your symptoms and manage your anxiety.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a researched based therapy that has good
evidence in reducing anxiety.

Through the sessions we may practice some tools and exercises that you
can use to reduce your anxiety

As part of my service I also offer an optional follow up programme
of e-mails and check in sessions, to keep you on track. Ensuring you continue
to manage your anxiety long term.

Generally my clients find that their panic attacks will stop after 6-12 sessions. (of course this cannot be guaranteed)

How long will I have to wait for my appointment?

Generally I can make an introductory appointment for you within a couple of weeks.
Depending on my work load, I can then book in your therapy sessions around a week to 4 weeks later.
Appointments are available Monday -Thursday 10am-4pm

An Introductory counselling session is at the reduced rate of £30 for 50 Mins, allowing us to meet each other and allow you to find out how we can work together​.
​
Future sessions will be at £60 for 50 Mins
​
Individual introductory Mindfulness sessions are at £30 for 50 mins with future sessions 50 mins for £60
Mindfulness Group classes are £150 for the 8 week course, if you would like to discuss weekly payments
of £20 please get in touch.​ The groups classes are 1.5 hours.
